Hong Kong Food Porn: Ippudo HK

If you happen to drop by or spend few days in Hong Kong, eating is the main goal to satisfy your trip in the country that serves diversity when it comes to food.

Japanese noodle or simply called Ramen is a great choice to eat especially during cold weather in a country that have four seasons like Hong Kong.

And what restaurant offers the best (so far for me) ramen in HK? Ippudo HK!

I read a few reviews about this Japanese restaurant located in Silvercord Mall in the shopping street of Tsim Sha Tsui and all were positive.

Ippudo is created by TV Tokyo's "Ramen King" Shigemi Kawahara and opened the Hong Kong branch just last year. Ippudo HK's main star are the three variations of tonkatsu pork bone broth ramen; Shiromaru Motoaji (White) HK$68, Akamaru Shinaji (Red) HK$68, and spicy Ippudo Karaka HK$78.

As a person who doesn't like spicy food, I went to the safest and the beginner's choice the White Shiromaru Motoaji. Unlike other ramen, Ippudo's ramen deserves an applaud because of the colorful toppings and yummy broth.

The best part of the ramen is the pork bone broth used, super YUMMY! As they said in the Philippines... sabaw pa lang ulam na!! NOM!!

Cute sesame seed jar.. I WANT!

With regards to their toppings, its up to you which topping you want to add (included in their menu).

We also ordered the Ippudo Pork BBQ bun, it wasn't amazing but worth to try.

With regards to waiting time to seat, avoid the peak hours (lunch break and dinner).
