Hong Kong Food Porn: Re-visit - Lin Heung Tea House

One thing for sure if you're traveling to Hong Kong with first timers is to let them eat dim sum to the legend in serving Cantonese cuisine, Lin Heung Tea House.

I've been here last year and since my clients (my friend and cousin) were first timers in Hong Kong, I made sure they didn't skip this restaurant. Yes, this place is noisy and crowded but the food is very worth a try.

Lin Heung Tea House survived the modernization of Hong Kong in architectural aspect and food. While other restaurant adapted the modern way of serving food to client, still Lin Heung Tea House stick to their root... Push cart ladies.

More info about Lin Heung Tea House on my previous post.

Here are what we ordered:

Steamed Bean Curd With Chicken, fish maw, and mushroom

Beef Balls

Salted Egg in Lotus Paste Bun
It looks like a fortune cookies shape with shrimp inside

I don't know what they called this but it taste good because of the honey

Lin Heung Tea House is easy to find.

Located in Wellington Street corner Aberdeen Street in Central. If you're taking the MTR, the easiest way is take the Sheung Wan station, Exit E2. Once you exit the MTR station, you'll see a fountain/Fitness First and walk towards to that area. Once you reach the fountain, in front is the Wellington Street.
