Earlier this week, Britney Spears found herself in our weekly 2 Hot 2 Handle gallery thanks to the adorable Azzadine Alaia dress and Miu Miu peep-toes she wore to the latest "X Factor" taping in Kansas City, Missouri. But, days later, the pop tart was back to her old ways -- and back in What Were They Thinking?! -- when she didn't have a team of stylists pulling her together. As a result, she popped by a SoCal ice cream shop in this hand-picked outfit, which consisted of an unsightly, mesh-paneled blouse, barely-there denim cutoffs, and tired Ugg boots. Of course Brit is allowed to tone down her look while running errands; we were just a bit taken aback after recently seeing her appear so polished. (6/12/2012)
If you thought Britney's getup was bad, wait 'til you see what Rihanna wore while out and about in NYC on Monday afternoon. Worse, right? What do you make of the "SOS" singer's textured tube top and pleated skirt? And, what about those frightening neon talons?! Discuss! (6/11/2012)

Speaking of lacy curtains/doilies/things that belong in a granny museum, check out the unfortunate Collette Dinnigan top Mandy Moore mistakenly paired with busted jeans and gladiator sandals for the Girl Scouts Rock The Mall event in Washington, D.C.
