Birthday @ Bistecca!

I had a great time spending the night of my birthday with close friends especially with my two best friends.

I really wanted to try Bistecca for six months now and last Sunday... I did! I contemplated which restaurants I wanted to try but Bistecca won.

I started my day going to church..thank God for a wonderful year and looking forward for my 27th year.... After church, I went to the gym to lose some pounds I gained from the days before Sunday. Then I headed to Power Plant Mall to meet up with friends before going to Bistecca.

Bistecca is really a posh fine dining restaurant. I really like the ambiance.... you'll get inspiration for your dream house once you dine there....

I already knew what to order:

-- Roast Chicken

   Boneless chicken wrapped with bacon strips... it was good but nothing to rave about.

-- Garlic Rice

  Mannang's garlic rice still the best for me!

-- Truffle Fries

   cooked with three different flavors of cheese... this is a must try if you're going to eat @ Bistecca! ZOMG! its so addicting!

 will definitely go back to Bistecca if I'll get my luck soon... and will try their steak and eat plenty of TRUFFLE FRIES!!

Hong Kong Part 3

Day 5 --

Woke up early and went to Ocean Park, we took MTR to Admiralty, then Bus 629 to OP (prepare HKD10.60 for the bus, but if you have the octopus card then swipe it!). We stayed and enjoyed the park until it closed around 6:00 pm (not recommended Ocean Park during holidays and weekends...kakaSTRESS DRILLON!). After OP, we went to Mongkok night market for shopping and ate street foods (YUMMYNESS!). We left Mongkok past mid-night (NGARAG NA PO KAMI!!!) and headed back to Taisan to rest.

Day 6 -- 

It was our last day in Hong Kong and we're scheduled to go to Nan Lian Gardens in the morning but decided as a free day! (YAY for me..means more shopping time!). We left the hostel past 10:00 am, since most of the shops in Hong Kong opens late. When we got to Causeway bay, I decided to separate from them to find my mission (Marc by Marc Jacobs and IKEA..more YAY!!). I went back to our hostel with my lunch (Grilled Chicken from McDonald's...CRAVING!!!!), IKEA stuff, and my new MJ tote bag. Since our ETD was 7:00 pm, we decided to chill-out for a bit. We checked-out Taisan and went straight to Hong Kong International Airport via Airport Express (rode free shuttle of airport express to kowloon in Kimberly road). When we arrived in HKIA, we strolled a bit and ate our dinner there. AGAIN, we almost missed our flight even though we were early....HK airport was huge! they even had a train!....We left Hong Kong past 7:00 pm and arrived Manila (NAY!) past 9:00 pm.
