USA Army

The United States Army is oldest and largest branch of Us military and responsible for land-based military operations. The Congress created the United States Army on 3 June 1784 after the end of the Revolutionary War.US army is headed by the Secretary of the Army, and the top military officer in the department is the Chief of Staff of the Army. The highest ranking army officer is currently the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
US army is divided into the Regular Army, the Army Reserve, and the Army National Guard.Other main branches of US army are Air Defense Artillery, Infantry, Aviation, Signal Corps, Corps of Engineers, and Armor. US army has following main ranks General, Lieutenant General , Major General , Brigadier General , Colonel , Lieutenant Colonel, Major , Captain , First Lieutenant , Second Lieutenant. Some of the famous recent wars fought by US army include Afghanistan war and Iraq war.

Established on August 1, 1927, People’s Liberation Army is the unified military organization of all land, sea, strategic missile and air forces of the People’s Republic of China. PLA is the world’s largest military force, with approximately 3 million members and has the world’s largest standing army, with approximately 2.25 million members. The PLA comprises five main service branches, consisting of the PLA Ground Force, PLA Navy (PLAN), PLA Air Force (PLAAF), Second Artillery Corps, and the PLA Reserve Force.
PLA has following main ranks First Class General , General , Lieutenant General , Major General , Senior Colonel , Colonel , Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Senior Captain , Captain , First Lieutenant , Second Lieutenant and Cadet. The Indian Army came into being when India gained independence in 1947, and inherited most of the infrastructure of the British Indian Army that were located in post-partition India. Indian army has a strength of 1,129,900 active personnel and 960,000 reserve personnel, making the Indian Army one of the world’s largest standing volunteer army.
Indian army operates 6 operational commands . Each command is headed by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief with the rank of Lieutenant General. Each command is directly affiliated to the Army HQ in New Delhi. It came into being with the unification of the Kingdom of England and Scotland into the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707. The active duty force of the British Army is more than 100,000 strong, making it the second largest army in the European Union behind France.
British Army has been an active alley in US war on terror.

Pak Army has been involved in four wars with neighbouring India and several border skirmishes with Afghanistan. Pakistan has also served as an ally to the United States in the Global War on Terrorism by assisting in fighting the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and along the border of Pakistan.
