The Longest Song On The World
You may have heard of long songs, but did you here for a song that will be played continuously for 1,000 years?! Longplayer is a track designed to last a thousand years. In particular,it began to play the January 1, 2000 and, if everything goes in smoothly, it will continue without repetition until December 31, 2999, when it is restarted. The song is based on an existing piece of music, particularly in a traditional Tibetan song that is being played with cymbals, which resembles very much a synthesis of bell sounds. This lasts 20 minutes and 20 seconds, time which is processed by computer using a simple algorithm. This has the effect of creating a large number of variants, which, when played in succession, give a total execution time 1000 years old! Check it out…

Lowest Note Ever Sung
Roger Menees has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for singing the lowest note ever recorded. The gospel singer and tour bus driver from southern Illinois reached a croaking f-sharp in Carbondale, Illinois. He always thought his bass voice was lower than all the others, now he has the certificate from Guinness to prove it. Menees was dead on right when he said the note wasn’t going to be very pretty. His goal he explained was to vibrate his vocal cords at the slowest possible speed. By measurement, his vocal cords vibrated at about 3 vibrations per second on this video:

He is currently a Guinness World Record holder for singing the highest note by a male – a half step above the C in the 8th octave (C♯8), or a half-step above the highest note on a standard 88-key piano. World Record Guitar Speed

After a year, he realized that the electric guitar was his greatest passion. He started to study electric guitar, practicing 16 hours a day! We guess that’s why on October 16, 2011 in Cannes Festival Della Vega attempted to beat the 600 bpm record of John Taylor by kicking it up to 750 bpm. Some on Youtube have said that he has submitted it to the Guinness Book of World Records. It has yet to be approved by Guinness…
The Loudest Band Ever
On July 15, 2009, in Ottawa, Canada, the band KISS achieved a SPL of 136 dB measured during their live performance. After noise complaints from neighbors in the area, the band was forced to turn the volume down. It’s interesting that before them, Manowar achieved a SPL of 139 dB during the sound check at the Magic Circle Fest in 2008 but that was not the actual performance so that doesn’t count…The Weirdest Song?!
