Kaduna State government doled out N310 million as assistance to victims and places of worship destroyed during the 2011 post election violence in the state.
This was contained in a 4-page communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of the state committee on inter-religious harmony held in Kaduna.
The communiqué signed by Alhaji Jaafaru Makarfi chairman Kaduna chapter of the Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI) and Bishop George Dodo on behalf of Kaduna chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) noted the effort and the commitment of the Kaduna peace and reconciliation committee to bring about enduring peace in the state.
It commended the state government for the bold step taken to release the white paper on the post-presidential election violence and the release of the funds to assist victims and places of worship.THANK GOD...
